Bow Down B**tches!!

So the MTV video music awards were on recently, and it's a given that they top the previous year, and this year was no exception.... With winners such as Lorde and shocker performances from Nicki Minja and kick ass dancing from Usher... This years stand out performer was the one and only Queen B.






She rocked the roof with a medley of songs from her newest album, Beyoncé. Twelve songs, jam packed into sixteen minutes of mind melting madness. Wearing this bejewelled mosaic leotard, she was throwing some mean shapes on the stage.

She didn't just perform one track from her new album, she decided to do the WHOLE thing... And she gave every song 110%, which is the usual from B.





Her performance was totally flawless, and fluidly moved from track to track, from fast to slow and from the dancey numbers to the slow power ballads, that Beyoncé is famed for. Not only was her singing on point, her choreography was bang on. She never missed a step and was in total sync with her backing dancers.











Her video backdrops were simple yet powerful, everything from loud bold print words to sweet home family videos. While she sang Blue, she got a bit tearful... Remember this was the same awards show in which she reviled she was pregnant.



































Straight after her performance Jay Z and Blue Ivy joined her on stage, where blue declared "Good job, Mommy!" She even got a lil dance on while her Mommy was on stage, super cute.











Beyoncé, was the clear choice to award the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to this year. And it only was right that her hubby Jay Z, and her lil cutie Blue
Ivy were the ones to give it to her, as the "the greatest living entertainer" And its clearly evident from her reaction how much this meant to her.





Beyoncé's choice to do a mash up of her newest album is why she deserved this award, unlike previous winners, she did not dwell on the number one's from her past. She powered through on all the goodness that shes going to be throwing our way this year.

Coachella 2013

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual three day music and arts festival. Started by Paul Tollett. The event caters to many music genres, including rock, indie, hip hop, and electronic music. The music is continuos with several stages scattered around the grounds of Coachella Valley in California. There are five main stages; Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, Gobi Tent, Mojave Tent, and the Sahara Tent.

The event supplies music from well know artists to new up'n'coming acts, as well as acts reforming for the event. The acts to grace the Coachella stages include everyone from Madonna, Paul McCartney and Prince to Arctic Monkeys and The Killers. Duran Duran are one of the reunited acts to walk on to the stage at the camping festival. Daft Punk, Muse, Blur and Jay Z... The list goes on and on!

Coachella is one of the few events that you are bound to see celebrities from all types of background partying together. From Victoria's Secret Angels, actors, singers... From the new faces to the aces in the business like Katy Perry... Million dollar bra wearing angel Alessandra Ambrosio... Star Trek hunk Chris Pine... They were all out to enjoy the weather, music and company for the weekend.

This event is one for the couples. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart showed the tiniest PDA ever... Bearly holding hands but looking cute all the same. Jesse Metcalfe and his lovely wife enjoyed the Guess hotel pool party and was spotted dancing with her later that evening at a gig. Emma Roberts was there with her boyfriend as was Vanessa Hudgens and Ashton. Paris Hilton not only brought her sister Nicki and her boyfriend but also her aunt, Kyle Richards from the show The Housewives of Beverly Hills. Ashley Benson brought friends and caught up with the cast of Springbreakers. Whitney Port was also there with friends as was Rumer Willis. Movie great, Clint Eastwood accompanied his daughters to the gig and looked chilled out in the VIP area.

The fashion was, as always, boho chic. Vanessa Hudgens and Diane Kruger seasoned Coachella vets have mastered the boho chic already. My favourite outfit of Vanessa's was her matching white shorts and string top. Carrying a massive sunflower and with flowers on her head she truly looked at home in the fashion scene. But Alessandra stole the crown for best dressed- all her outfits showed ease and comfort. She looked sexy and stylish in casuals that anyone could wear. No special crazy outfits here but she still nailed the boho chic outfits with the comfort to top it off! Sure what more could you ask for... Why not try it yourself?

Mastering this style is easy:
Flower garlands to massive hats, floaty tops and tiny denim shorts and of course a pair of leather boots. Topped off with a fabulous tan and funky sunglasses and you are sorted!
